Donation to the Road Home will be taken at MINI of Murray

Beginning October 1st we will be doing a clothing/supply drive for The Road Home and it will continue throughout the entire month of October. We have a 2011 MINI Cooper Clubman that we want to fill all the way up with donations.  We want to encourage our customers to donate along with the employees. As an incentive to donate we will have a box out that if each customer can fill it up they can receive a BMW hat or BMW t-shirt.  If they choose not to take that then we will donate a BMW beanie on their behalf.  So as you are cleaning out closets or going to go buy a new coat – think of what you bring will do for all those less fortunate than us.

The donations need to be clean and in good condition. Listed below are the items that are needed most.  There will be a complete list on the signs and fliers; or you can go to the website at -click on GIVE and then at the bottom click on In-Kind Needs List.

-Blankets (all sizes)

-Bath size towels

-Hats (all sizes)

-Gloves (all sizes)

-Socks (all sizes)

-Underwear (all sizes, new)

-Coats (all sizes)

Please get excited about this and encourage friends, family, neighbors, and customers to come out to our dealership and donate.  This will bless so many people’s lives.

The Road Home is a private non-profit social service agency that assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake County and along the Wasatch Front. Our mission is to help people step out of homelessness and back into our community. Originally established in 1923 to assist stranded travelers, the Road Home has grown to address a spectrum of needs that people experiencing homelessness encounter as they work to restore their lives. In addition to operating the largest shelter in Utah, the Road Home has developed a comprehensive housing program that helps people move into housing as quickly as possible.
